A team of 10 upcoming knee surgeons were taken to the Arthrex laboratory in Munich to undertake a day of knee teaching. I was chairman for the knee teaching. The teaching involved lectures of the theory and practical knowledge on how to perform certain surgeries. Most of the day was spent practically performing certain operations in the cadaver laboratory.
Most of the spectrum on soft tissue knee surgery was covered in the day with the participants gaining important experience on the cadavers and tricks on how to perform the operations by myself and Dr J. Holts from Hamburg, Germany.
It was a great short trip to the Arthrex laboratory which was extremely useful and enjoyed by all who took part.
